Reconnecting with Myself, So I Can Help You Reconnect with You

At 21, my life looked perfect on the outside. I had a thriving business, a beautiful home, and was raising my 4-year-old son. But inside, I was a wreck. Anxiety gripped me in ways I couldn’t understand, and I pushed myself to be someone I didn’t even recognize.

I lived in constant fear:

Afraid to fall asleep because I thought I’d swallow my tongue and die.

Convinced something terrible was always about to happen, whether it was terminal illness or losing my child.

Cleaning obsessively, to the point of exhaustion, just to silence the anxiety screaming in my mind.

I thought this was just my life the cards I’d been dealt. So, I plastered a smile on my face, clenched my way through each day, and convinced myself that if I could just push harder, I’d be okay..

It wasn’t until a close friend gently said, “It’s not right to always feel like this,” that I allowed myself to seek help. A doctor diagnosed me with anxiety, and I started a journey of counseling and meditation. But for years, the anxiety and chronic pain lingered.

Then, everything shifted when I came across the word trauma. For the first time, I understood why I always felt on edge, why I saw the world as a series of threats. My brain and body were stuck in fight-or-flight mode, trying to protect me based on past experiences.

And here’s what I realized:
Trauma isn’t about whether an experience seems “big enough.” If it affects your ability to cope, then it’s valid. It’s real. And it can be healed.

Breathwork changed my life. I still remember my first session vividly, it was the first time in years I felt truly present in my body, rather than living in my head. Breath became my anchor, a way to connect with myself and calm my nervous system.

I’ve since built a toolbox that helps me navigate life with more ease and self-compassion. I’m no longer hard on myself or trying to meet impossible expectations. I’ve learned to honour who I am, embrace my experiences, and approach healing with both cognitive and body-based tools.

Today, I’m passionate about helping others do the same. I want to help you see that:

  • You are not your anxiety, depression, or pain.
  • You are not the roles or expectations placed on you.
  • You are not broken.

Through breathwork and other practices, I guide people to reconnect with their true selves, release emotional blocks, and move through life with more freedom, ease, and joy.

Healing doesn’t mean erasing your past it means understanding it, honouring it, and learning how to move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.

I have done meditation with Ashley and I have to say she is absolutely fantastic. Not only does she has the most soothing and calming voice but she also has so much knowledge about meditation and the different ways you can do meditation to suit your own needs.
